Ugh. What can I say?
I promised I would update .... so there it is.
Days are doggone hot now, so I am comatose most of time... as much as I love heat, I seriously wish to have some rain to cool the landscape down, at least for a little bit.
As it is, operation was a success, had to go through the sucky phase of having a painful inner ear because I didn't protect it from the winds (owwie), and then got the outer part of cochlear implant. The first probe was strange, because it seemed that I had lil' bats squeakin' in my ear - you know, like when you are sick and you have a feeling your head is just ringing with sounds, but with less pain and more echoes. It was very very very... weird, but I am getting used to it now. Still, it will be a long long road to the real hearing /sweatdrops/.
My thesis is a... piece of work. /eyes the recently finished chapters evilly/ That questionnaire was a bitch to get through, and if I ever do anything like that, then it hopefully won't include home-made polls. /sour face/. To go at least thrice through the same damn poll and write out results is a bitchin' hard job, because of all checking and re-checking of the results. I'm no math genius, so this was a little harder for me, but now it's done and over with. Whew. So I sent it yesterday to my mentor to get through it all - I am evil like that, and besides, I haven't been in contact with him for long enough time because of the post-op recovery. /evil smirk/
Got another idea for another crossover, this time is Bleach/F/SN oriented, but not telling more until I have something more concrete to introduce either here or on FF_net. oh and the theme song for the all the souls that go through the same torture with theses like me: Bleed It Out by Linkin Park.
